Yahoo has published the list of top ten most searched terms of 2006 conducted on Yahoo Search on Tuesday. According to Yahoo’s list, pop princess Britney Spears tops the list of most searched keyword in 2006 on Yahoo Search. Britney Spears has topped the list 5th time in the past 6 years. Search term Britney Spears is followed by the abbreviated term of World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE on the top ten most searched keyword list. Singer Shakira, Jessica Simpson, Beyonce Knowles, Pamela Anderson, and Lindsay Lohan are other top searched keywords on Yahoo Search. Singer Chris Brown is the only male to make into the top ten list of most searched keywords on Yahoo Search.
